INOTEX mainly focuses on the research, development, service and transfer of technologies in the field of pre-preparations, dyeing, printing and special modifications of textiles. Brief History INOTEX is a successor to the Research Textile Finishing Institute (RTFI). It was founded in 1992 and in 1996 took over RTFI and follows in its tradition. Organised research into textile activities dates back to the year 1949, when the predecessor of RTFI was founded, the Research Institute of Czechoslovak Textile Enterprises. The Research Finishing Institute, later the Research Textile Finishing Institute, became well-known within the European textiles community as an organisation supplied with experts who were making significant achievements in the important field of textile finishing, especially concerning cellulose materials and their blends. After becoming independent in 1989, the company strengthened its research activities and besides this even specialized in the production of such items as textile auxiliary agents and short-yardage textiles.
